Course aims
This qualification will give learners a basic understanding of childcare and education, and parenting. It will also help them to make an informed choice about working with children and young people.

Qualification
NCFE You will complete the following 7 units: - Young children's development - Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people - Respecting and valuing children - Use food and nutrition information to plan a healthy diet - Importance of play for early learning - The value of play to young children - Sharing learning experiences with children.

How will the course be delivered?
This is an E-learning course and your study pattern is self-managed. A commitment of 2 - 3 hours per week is suggested to enable successful completion of the course within the timescale of 20 weeks.

How will I know I'm making progress?
You will receive regular feedback from an assessor following completion and submission of individual units.
