This workshop will be an introduction to basic makeup tools and products commonly used for festival makeup styles. Tips for achieving a flawless base makeup application. Introduction to vibrant eyeshadow colours and how to incorporate them into festival looks. Hands-on practice with different eyeshadow palettes and blending techniques. Explanation of different types of glitters and how to safely apply them to the face and body. Introduction to bold lip colours and how to choose the right shade for your skin tone. Tips for adding finishing touches such as highlighting, contouring, and setting spray to complete the festival makeup look.

Foundation and Base Makeup Explanation of different types of foundation and how to choose the right one for your skin type. Demonstration of applying foundation, concealer, and primer for a long-lasting festival look. Tips for achieving a flawless base makeup application. Colourful Eye Makeup Introduction to vibrant eyeshadow colours and how to incorporate them into festival looks. Demonstration of techniques for creating bold eye makeup looks, such as cut creases, halo eyes, and graphic liners. Hands-on practice with different eyeshadow palettes and blending techniques. Guidance on choosing eyeshadow colours that complement eye shape and skin tone. Face and Body Glitter Explanation of different types of glitters and how to safely apply them to the face and body. Demonstration of glitter application techniques, including placement and adhesive options. Hands-on practice with applying glitter to create sparkling festival looks. Statement Lips and Finishing Touches Introduction to bold lip colours and how to choose the right shade for your skin tone. Demonstration of techniques for applying statement lip colours and achieving long-lasting wear. Tips for adding finishing touches such as highlighting, contouring, and setting spray to complete the festival makeup look.

How will the course be delivered?
This is a practical course and the sessions will include tutor-led demonstrations, learner-led group activities, instruction and repetition. These will form part of the delivery together with one-to-one support as required.

Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
It is always useful to practise your skills between sessions. But there is no formal requirement to do so.

How will I know I'm making progress?
At the beginning of the session, your tutor will share with you the objectives of the day, which will give you an opportunity to think about your individual aims for the session. At the end of the session, you will have time to share your experience and reflect on what you learned.
