The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care course is a 20-week program designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in a career supporting adults. Who is this course for?
Learners who are over 19 years of age, with the aim of gaining employment in the health and care sector, or for those who are already employed in the sector and are looking to upskill.

Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners should have a minimum of Entry 3 in English.

How will I know I'm making progress?
You will receive regular feedback from an assessor following completion and submission of individual units. You will also receive weekly updates of progress as well as any outstanding items.

Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
There is a considerable amount of work for you to do in your own time for this qualification. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours per week for this

What will I need for the course?
Please bring a notepad, and pen to each session. You may wish to bring a file for any handouts. A laptop with internet access is required for completion of coursework and home learning outside of the classroom. Please note that food and drink are not permitted to be consumed in the classroom. You may bring a bottle of water with a lid with you if required.
